only need to
sleep 3 hours a night
or
work 6 hours a day

My math is 9 hours work + 3 hours sleep = 12 hours me time; 6 hours work + 7.5 hours sleep = 10.5 hours me time.

So the question is, would I rather have 12 hours me time and sit at my desk for 9 hours or have 10.5 hours me time and leave at 3 every afternoon. I think I'd take the second.

It depends on your personal math to some degree.

i love sleep
i choose less work

plus i find it more fun to be doing something fun when others are working than when theyre sleeping unless its like saturday night at eleven and then the people who are asleep are probably losers or really old

i already get only about 3 hours of sleep. so if that was all i needed nothing would change. except i wouldn't be so damn tired all the time. but being wide awake at work isn't any better. so i choose less work.
